2019 begins…
We begin the year with a small commission of plates for Quigley and Clarke Clunes restaurant and cafe. A quirky moment and I’m making egg cups. The thing about egg cups is they have to be stable, but that’s not always easy to achieve. Large feet is the answer.

I am enjoying making open bowls I can then enhance using iron-rich glazes that mature in a long reduction firing. I know that certain combinations create certain effects but there is no precision.
